Black Owned Fintech launches Spending Ticker and Seal Of App …

(MENAFN- PRLog) – During Juneteenth, in the city of Tulsa, Friends of the Movement (FotM) Global partnered with the Greenwood Chamber of Commerce to unveil the first ever Black Wall Street Spending Ticker and Seal of Approval in Tulsa, Oklahoma’s Black Wall Street district.
FotM Global is a black-owned social Fintech company created to give conscious consumers the opportunity to vote with their wallets to bring about rapid economic change and meaningful social impact. Following the assassination of George Floyd, Dr. Charles Walker, Jr. how financial technology could help close the wealth gap around the world. After working for the last thirty years to help build the infrastructure to build generational wealth in the black community, he noticed that the overwhelming majority of the people who marched during the protest were non-blacks. So he wanted to honor and celebrate that they were at the forefront of the work of bringing about social change. Friends of the Movement represents this new brand of conscious consumers who aim to harness their total annual consumer power to support a purpose-built ecosystem of salespeople who are in line with their causes and values. The black community spends $ 1.7 trillion, but only 3% is spent on black businesses. The dollar remains in the black society for six (6) hours, but is recycled in the Asian society for 28 days. The Black Wall Street Spending Ticker and Seal of Approval is the first ever-conscious consumer platform for black society and their allies under the FotMs Conscious Spending Index (CSI) that enables consumers to identify, support, store, reference, track, report spending progress, and reward blacks and FotM merchants who support their community and values.
Just imagine … Our Money United. ‘Our Money United Campaign’ is the grassroots spending campaign that includes the Black Wall Street Pledge that consumers and sellers charge to spend a percentage of their income with black and FotM merchants and direct sellers and customers to join the Black Wall Street 4.0 Ecosystem .

Dr. Charles ‘Champ’ Walker Jr. has held several management positions in several fields; staffing, wastewater, clothing, entertainment and technology. He is the CEO of Bright Ideas Consulting and was a founding member of the Green Economy Diversity Initiative (GEDI) where he worked with the White House Council on Environmental Quality and recognized environmental justice, green advocates and business activists to lead the fight for green preference contracts. Dr. Walker has served on a number of civil rights advisory councils, such as the Atlanta Rainbow Push Coalition Steering Committee and the Georgia Coalition for the People’s Agenda, where he worked to build the infrastructure to create generational wealth. Mr. Walker has also worked with the original Black Wall Street Chamber, Greenwood Chamber of Commerce, SCLC and CSRA Business league. In 1993, he created Heritage, the first African American Crest to be approved by the country’s best civil rights and religious organizations and later incorporated into the Smithsonian Anacostia Museum.
