IFZA free is a much simpler registration option to get a license in crypto, as it does not involve deposits, share capital or previous experience in the crypto market, while DMCC free is an upgraded version of procedures to get a license for crypto.

It requires practical assurance of the director’s experience in the financial ecosystem, and the license acquisition limit is around 3-4 weeks. The minimum share capital requirement is AED 50,000 (€12,750), which must be sent to the company account within six months of registration.
