Artsy Monke Project building game to earn universe exclusively for Artsy Monke and Bored Ape owners

Created by registered Nintendo game developer and artist CryptoGrims, and veteran Blockchain developer Dan Hovey, Artsy Monke burst onto the NFT scene recently after developing his own artificial intelligence to transform the 10,000 Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs that printable artwork. The collection quickly sold out and has now soared over 150 ETH in secondary trading volume on the popular OpenSea marketplace, reaching a market capitalization of half a million dollars (USD) so far.

By making the NFT a key to access other valuable assets, it will motivate people to hold rather than sell, reduce available supply, causing its value to grow exponentially. To this end, the Artsy Monke project is creating a virtual video arcade park where only Artsy Monke or BAYC holders can explore, play and earn. The world will have twenty themed areas, each featuring an ever-growing collection of retro-themed video games. Users will be able to pick up and play any game in this world, earning Artsy Monke in-game currency while doing so. This currency will of course live on the blockchain, and be tradable for NFTs and cryptocurrency. This isn’t the team’s first foray into virtual worlds, with project AI artist CryptoGrims also a senior VR and game developer by trade, and Hovey is the lead developer at the upcoming world’s first comedy club powered by Blockchain, Crypto Comedy Club.

The team believes that the most important aspect is to keep the community in a project happy. “We’ve been trying to add value not only to our own community, but also to the BAYC community. Since day one, we’ve accepted $APE for Artsy Monke as well as creating an abstract artwork of the monkeys.” stated Dan. But their support of the NFT community extends beyond just BAYC. Dan is a weekly co-host on former two-time King of the Cage Middleweight Champion, Keith Berry’s Twitter room, where he both supports and brings together young up and coming artists NFTs.
