April 13 – Château Malartic-Lagraviere, a Bordeaux grand cru classé, launched on 12 April 2023 an exclusive NFT collection of 150 engraved and numbered magnums of the 2022 vintage. The sale is sold out in an hour!

Wednesday 12 April, at 18:00 CET, the opening of the En-Primeur week in Bordeaux, the NFT Limited Edition collection, sold out in one hour on the intercellar.io marketplace, has been a real success!

Château offered to sell 150 NFTs representing 150 unique, engraved, numbered magnums of the sublime 2022 vintage.

Thanks to the NFT technology, which provides proof of ownership, the wines can be traded without leaving the Château. This ground-breaking approach reduces the carbon footprint and preserves the quality of the bottles, which are stored in perfect conditions on the estate.

The magnums from the 2022 vintage will be available physically at the end of the aging period in November 2024. They are all aged in Petra casks from Maison Moussié cooper, toasted with lichen.

Château Malartic-Lagravière has worked for several years with the Maison Moussié cooperage, known for its exclusive, distinctive style, including a barrel roasted with lava stone, which preserves and highlights the fruit, a quality that particularly appeals to the Bonnie family.

Always on the lookout for qualitative and innovative opportunities, this project with the Web3 InterCellar Marketplace and the Maison Moussié collaboration made perfect sense. The sale, which generated a lot of interest from the Web3 community and wine lovers, was a huge success as all 150 NFTs were sold in one hour on April 12th.
