Blink Parametric and Sanctifly join forces in global partnership

Blink Parametric has announced an exciting collaboration with the travel-wellness subscription platform Sanctifly. The two industry leaders in the global InsurTech and TravelTech markets respectively have joined forces to offer a technology-driven real-time flight delay benefit to Sanctifly travelers worldwide. Effective immediately, Sanctifly’s membership includes a new service that awards Sanctifly points to travelers who experience a 2+ hour flight delay. These points can be used against a wide range of travel benefits such as airport lounge passes, gym or swimming pool access, or even airport massages.

Sanctifly is a membership app that gives travelers access to relaxation and fitness options at airports around the world. Members get plenty of tailored advice, hints, tips, hacks and information on how to spend between one and six hours of delays or layovers before, after or between flights at 175 international airports. Service options include access to jogging tracks, fitness centers, pools, spas, quiet zones, meditation and yoga rooms, lounges, shower and sleeping facilities, and healthy dining options. Sanctifly members also get access to the airport hotels’ fitness, wellness and relaxation facilities without having to book a room.

announce the agreement, Carl Carter, Chief Commercial Officer on Blink Parametric says, “We knew for a while that we wanted to work with Sanctifly, as our respective travel service offerings easily complement each other. Our teams are also equally driven to design a truly unique customer experience, so there was a great creative dynamic throughout the development phase. Once the membership offering was defined, implementation using Blink Parametric App widget technology made it a quick and easy process to fully embed and brand the service as an integral part of the Sanctifly app and user experience. It was pretty much plug and play, which led to a seamless launch, and I’m thrilled to see it already delivering real and tangible benefits to Sanctifly members.”

Karl Llewellyn, founder and CEO of Sanctifly talked about the rationale for adding Blink Parametric to its suite of benefits, “Adding the Blink Parametric Flight Delay Benefit to the mix is a milestone improvement in our existing customer benefit. Anyone who has experienced airport delays knows how difficult and tedious they can be – people’s time is precious and often limited. Our goal is to change the perspective of that experience into something positive. Enables members to make good use of their time by hitting the gym, or indeed using the rare ‘down time’ to relax and enjoy a massage. It is part of our wider aim to support the health and wellbeing of our members when they travel. There has never been a greater focus on the well-being of individual travellers, with companies demonstrating their duty of care to the employees who represent them around the world. I know for myself that travel warriors don’t want to sit for hours in an airport bar when there is something better to do. They want positive distractions based on healthy living and taking care of themselves while on the go. This entire process has been hugely positive for us, made easier by the innate understanding we share with Blink Parametric of the travel markets we serve.
