The digital avatar of Vishnu by Ishita Banerjee is the second most expensive NFT ever sold in India. Ishita Banerjee is a Montreal-based artist of Indian descent.

According to the current exchange rate at the time, Banerjee’s NFT recreation of the fourth avatar of Vishnu brought in 3,200 WRX or $2,66,616 on the WazirX NFT marketplace in June 2021. In addition, her two other artworks, featuring Kali and Phoenix , brought in $2,49,743.36 and $2,42,019.34, respectively.

Ranveer Singh’s NFTs on his film

Ranveer Singh, the Simba of Bollywood, is third on the list. In December 2021, the NFT collectibles, which contained digital movie posters (Film -83), famous movie scenes, songs and dialogue, were introduced. They were produced on the Polygon blockchain. Within an hour of its launch, all the NFTs were sold out, bringing in a tidy Rs 10 lakh.
