Haverford police report for the week ending December 6:

Nov 30

12:53: motor vehicle thefts in the 700 block of Beechwood Drive.

09:57: Attempted theft, 100 block of Fawn Lane. An unlocked vehicle was entered.

13:27: retail theft at Kohl’s in the 200 block of West Chester Pike. An unknown woman stole $1,126 worth of merchandise.

19:30: Catalytic converter stolen from a vehicle at Eagle Tower Apartments in the 2300 block of East Darby Road.

22:03: At the P & W Station in the 600 block of the Septa Line, a victim reported that he was assaulted by approximately eight men as he got off the train. The actors stole his cell phone, credit card and keys.

December 1st

11:32 a.m.: At the Lowe’s in the 100 block of West Township Line Road, a 46-year-old homeless man and a 46-year-old Brooklyn, NY man were arrested on charges of retail theft, theft by deception, receiving stolen property, forgery, tampering with records and false identification to the police

12:53: A resident in the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue reported that a check was altered and cashed after it was mailed.

17:22: In the 1300 block of East Darby Road, a catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle.

2. December

11:31 a.m.: In the 100 block of Strathmore Road, a resident reported observing an unknown male attempting to enter his vehicle. The actor fled when the car alarm was activated.

20:36: In the 300 block of Earlington Road, a resident reported several unauthorized purchases made with her credit card.

December 3

10:21 a.m.: A vehicle was stolen in the 500 block of Woodland Drive.

11:24 a.m.: At the Verizon store in the 600 block of West Chester Pike, two men broke the top of the display table and stole two iPhones.

2:02 p.m.: In the 100 block of North Drexel Avenue, a resident reported losing $599 in an online scam.

4:34 p.m.: In the 100 block of Lewis Road, a resident reported $50,000 worth of his bitcoin was stolen from the crypto network.

4:48 p.m.: In the 500 block of Wales Road, a rear driver’s side window was broken.

December 4

13:11: Oakmont School in the first block of East Eagle Road reported numerous vandalism. The white vinyl fence, storage bin and flagstone pavers were damaged. A plaque was also removed from the bench.

22:52: A 48-year-old homeless man was arrested in the 400 block of Kenmore Road for disorderly conduct.

December 5

02:12: A 23-year-old woman from the 100 block of North Eagle Road was arrested in the block for disorderly conduct.

12:42 p.m.: In the 100 block of Fawn Lane, an unlocked vehicle was entered. Nothing was reported missing.

December 6

11:07 a.m.: In the first block of East Eagle Road, a resident reported two unauthorized purchases made with her debit card.

12:20 p.m.: At the Staples store in the 1300 block of West Chester Pike, an unknown male stole a printer valued at $399.

12:22 p.m.: A resident reported someone withdrew $850 from the victim’s bank account in the 1300 block of Robinson Avenue.

4:04 p.m.: At the Giant store in the 100 block of West Township Line Road, an unknown male placed $357 in health and beauty products in a cart and rolled out of the store. A loss prevention officer approached the subject and he returned the items and ran away.

Police also reported 20 moving violations, 16 cautions, five non-traffic citations and 46 parking tickets issued for the week
