Here are some you may not have heard of….

Ramp

B2B fintech unicorn Ramp is another fintech on our New York list. Ramp has an automation platform focused on spending. It builds out the front-end and UX engineering team. Beyond that team, it will have iOS, Android and Python engineers.

The team is engineering-focused, with a headcount of around 500 and engineers accounting for around 20% of that. Working with the front end will see you using “react, typescript and a shiny component library.”

A full-time frontend engineer at Ramp can earn up to $275ki base salary. They also want front end interns with an hourly rate of $60.

Flex

Flex is a fintech for consumer infrastructure that aims to streamline the payment of rent. It says it is “rapidly scaling” and that there are open roles across engineering, product and data science.

Outgoing

Freight and truck-oriented payments and infrastructure fintech Outgo is hiring for multiple engineering roles in Seattle. Both full stack and front end engineers can expect to earn between $120k and $210k.

The company was co-founded by a former product manager at Uber in Marcus Womack and a staff engineer at the digital shipping network Convoy in Ray Fortna.

Fortna says the engineers should have “deep experience across multiple areas of the technology stack. Bonus points if you have previous experience with payments or other financial technology.”

OKX

OKX is a crypto company looking to expand its engineering departments in San Francisco. A lead reliability engineer and devops engineering manager can both earn base salaries of well over $300k, but there are other senior and junior engineering roles also available.

We have previously highlighted OKX as one of the best fintechs to work for in Singapore. It is looking for a Java quantum developer there along with a quantum researcher and quantum analyst in Hong Kong.
