Doodles is a collection of 10,000 cartoon-like NFTs, best known for their pastel colors and excellent “rainbow puke” features.
First launched in October 2021, the collection quickly gained notoriety in the NFT industry, thanks in part to the long-standing web3 presence of the collection’s founders, Evan Keast, Burnt toast and Poopie.
While the project cemented itself as a notable web3 brand in late 2021, it continued its ascent to the upper echelon of NFT projects in 2022.
In March, the collection partnered with Shopify to blow away tech enthusiasts and other attendees with its physical merchandising and display at the SXSW conference in Austin, Texas.
A few months later, the project turned around again when it announced the hiring of former Billboard executive Julian Holguin.
Hired to help expand the Doodles IP through music, games and entertainment, Holguin was only with the Doodles organization for a few months before the announcement that another notable music executive – Pharell Williams – would be joining the organization as a board member.
Around the same time as the news that Williams would join the project’s board, the team also shared critical details about a possible expansion project, Doodles 2.
While the first Doodles collection only contains 10,000 NFTs, the goal of Doodles 2 is to promote the Doodles brand to millions of potential consumers using Dooplicator (free NFT claim for holders) and Genesis Box NFT (publicly auctioned).
The Doodles team is hard at work growing the brand and didn’t make another big announcement until a few weeks ago when they shared details of the $54 million in funds raised and the eventual release of a music NFT.
The Doodles NFT collection was originally minted for 0.123 ETH. The current floor price is 8.75 ETH.

DraftKings intends to purchase the NFTs within sixty (60) days after the Week 3 Web 3 contests end. The determination of which NFTs to purchase will be at DraftKing’s sole discretion, and DraftKings reserves the right to purchase less than three (3) NFTs from an NFT project in the event that the floor price exceeds the lower of the double floor price as of 9. /19 or 3 ETH. DraftKings intends to use the purchased NFTs for prizes in future Reignmakers Football contests. DraftKings reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to use the NFTs for other purposes. The Week 3 Web 3 REIGNMAKER contests are not included in the Sweep the Floor promotion. For clarity, all contests are fully open to the public and are not closed based on ownership of non-DraftKings NFTs. Lineup requirements specific to Reignmakers Football competitions apply.
