Company Walletto UAB has become a member of Mastercard Lighthouse
Vilnius, Lithuania–(Newsfile Corp. – January 16, 2023) – Lithuanian company Walletto has become a member of Mastercard Lighthouse, which aims to help startups in the Baltic and Nordic countries establish contacts, find partners and get inspiration from experienced experts who have worked in the financial technology industry for many years.

The Mastercard Lighthouse program shows how innovative the Nordics and Baltics are. The FinTech industry is reaching an all-time high, attracting greater funding and thus even more entrepreneurs to develop FinTech products. “We believe that by engaging and collaborating in this way, we are able to develop better financial services for the whole of society”, concludes R. Baranovs.
More than 70 partnerships have already been started during the programme.
UAB Walletto is an established Lithuanian company that received an electronic money institution license No. 33 from the Bank of Lithuania on March 29, 2018 to provide financial payment services, card issuance and e-commerce to customers in Europe.
Walletto is a direct participant in the STEP2 SEPA Credit Transfer scheme with the Bank of Lithuania system CENTROlink and a direct participant in SWIFT. Walletto is a main member of Visa and Mastercard as an issuer and acquirer. Cards issued by Wallet to support Google Pay and Apple Pay.
Walletto focuses primarily on the B2B segment and provides services in the following areas:

Collection (acceptance of payments made with Visa and Mastercard cards);

Payments (IBAN opening, SEPA transfers, bulk payments and SWIFT transfers);

Card issuing (BIN sponsorship, co-branded debit, credit and prepaid cards, White Label card programs for both the most recognizable international card organizations in the world such as VISA and Mastercard).
