The market saw positive activity on Monday with the largest cryptocurrency, Bitcoin (BTC), briefly crossed $25000. Ethereum (ETH) also traded with gains, while Shiba Inu (SHIB) was the trendiest crypto of the day and also the biggest gainer.

The global crypto market cap was up 0.76 percent to $1.19 trillion at 8:40 a.m. Global crypto volume increased by 14.62 percent to $65.12 billion, according to Coinmarketcap data.

Trading volume in the decentralized financial coin section is around $5.5 billion, or 8.52 percent of the total 24-hour volume of the crypto market. The volume of all stablecoins is $57.9 billion, or about 88.92 percent of the total crypto market volume in the last 24 hours.

Today’s top winner was SHIB, which was up 34.2 percent to $0.00001714. The biggest loser was Nexo (NEXO), which fell 4.99 percent to $1.02.

Bitcoin (BTC)

As of 8:50 a.m., Bitcoin rose 2.05 percent to $24,887.19 and currently holds a 40.07 percent dominance of the crypto market.

Cardano (ADA) rose 2.45 percent to $0.5788. The 24-hour trading volume for ADA fell by 28.95 percent to $905,275,672.

Binance (BNB) fell 0.35 percent to $325.68. Its 24-hour trading volume rose 3.4 percent to $1,006,758,779.

Meme Coins

Dogecoin (DOGE) was up 10.53 percent to $0.08161. Its 24-hour trading volume increased by 271.17 percent to $1,642,980,581.

Shiba Inu (SHIB) was up 34.2 percent to $0.00001720.

Decentralized Finance (DeFi)

Yearn.Finance (YFI) fell 0.47 percent to $11,503.49. Its 24-hour trading volume decreased by 39.64 percent to $67,758,260.


Avalanche (AVAX) fell 0.68 percent to $29.26, and 24-hour trading volume was up 10.01 percent to $451,584,750.

Aave (AAVE) traded up 0.86 percent to $111.97, and 24-hour trading volume was down 1.53 percent to $155,861,350.
