Web 3.0 Soccer Game MonkeyLeague Starts NFT Breeding Season

MonkeyLeague is excited to start its first ever breeding season on October 26, 2022.

The news follows last month’s landmark partnership between MonkeyLeague and reigning Italian Serie A champions AC Milan. Following the announcement, the MonkeyPlayer NFT floor price jumped significantly.

MonkeyLeague’s breeding is a feature that allows holders of two or more Monkey NFTs to breed them together to generate more MonkeyPlayer NFTs. This feature allows players to fill out their team, create multiple teams or switch them.

The breeding function will be governed by seasons or themes, where those who participate can receive limited edition traits in their new MonkeyPlayers. The MonkeyLeague’s first breeding season will be themed around their recent partner AC Milan, with limited edition AC Milan-branded features appearing in the new Monkeys.

To participate, players must have two MonkeyPlayer NFTs and a breeding pod to breed new players. Each MonkeyPlayer can breed up to four times. The first time is free, and subsequent races cost an increasing percentage of the current average selling price of the Gen Zero MonkeyPlayer.

The first breeding capsule sale is strictly reserved for a limited number of players with the ‘MonkeyPioneer’ role in the MonkeyLeague Discord server. Becoming a MonkeyPioneer requires server members to verify that they have a MonkeyPlayer NFT.

This highly anticipated feature will launch when the first MonkeyLeague game versions are scheduled to be released in the coming months.

About MonkeyLeague
