The Singapore FinTech Festival kicks off with over 850 expert speakers and 450 FinTech exhibitors

SINGAPORE, 31 October 2022 /PRNewswire/ — The seventh edition of the Singapore FinTech Festival (SFF) kicks off today as an in-person event from October 31 to November 4. Organized by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and ElevandI[1]is the theme for SFF 2022 “Building robust business models in the midst of volatility and change”.

1. SFF 2022 will see more than 850 expert speakers and over 250 hours of content across the week-long program. The festival is expected to draw participants from more than 110 countries and 2,000 organizations. It will feature 450 exhibitors and 25 international pavilions across the entire exhibition hall.

2. By invitation only Capital meets political dialoguewhich will be held on November 1, will bring together policymakers and investors to discuss the current innovations in financial services, exchange views on emerging risks and share perspectives on FinTech regulation.

3. The Innovation Lab review, which will be held on 31 October and 1 November, will feature 26 participating organisations, including the Asia FinTech Center, Capgemini, NEC Laboratories, BNY Mellon, DBS and HSBC. Located across Singaporethese organizations will showcase their latest FinTech innovations in areas such as alternative investments, decentralized investments and insurance.

4. The Conference segment of SFF, which will be held from November 2 to 4, will feature more than 400 sessions with government leaders, policy makers, innovators, economists, business leaders and FinTech entrepreneurs. 5. A highlight in Conference the segment is the first Student Insights Forumwhich will bring together experts from entities such as the International Monetary Fund, the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, Bank for International Settlements Innovation Hub, Milken Institute and Institute of International Finance, for a series of deep-dive roundtable discussions on issues such as cross-border payments, open finance, Web3 and digital assets. The participants will then follow up through industry reports and lighthouse projects.

6. SFF 2022 will see the return of a physical Display with over 450 organisations, including global financial institutions, regulators and FinTechs, showcasing the latest innovations and developments in the FinTech space. The Display will contain for the first time a ESG FinTech Zone, curated in collaboration with MAS’ Green FinTech Office. It will host ESG FinTechs, financial institutions and real economy players to showcase solutions that meet important ESG data and disclosure challenges facing companies.

7. SFF 2022 will have a major focus on competence and knowledge development. Participants will be able to earn their sustainability and digital assets and Web3 badges after completing a three-day Learning journey which allows them to experience a range of activities at SFF. Participants can also participate in networking and mentoring opportunities Lunch and learn sessions with industry players over three days of the festival. The course especially for participants and students who want to explore a career or upgrade skills in FinTech is The talent pavilion with career fairs, expert lectures and learning courses.
