Smart launches personalized pension animations for savers

Fintech Smart has launched pension animations for its pension savers. The personalized animations provide an overview of a pension in a simple, digestible and more accessible way.

The animation also takes customers on a journey through how much they have saved for retirement, showing how much their savings have grown and where their money is invested.

The launch follows a beta version with 8,000 members in the UK. The animated retirement journey is available to all customers of Smart’s UK business, Smart Pension. The feature will also be available to Keystone platform customers in other countries around the world.

Tappy Pay is now available in Europe and the UK with Curve

TappyPayTappy Technologiesa supplier of portable and digital payment solutions, has entered into a partnership with digital wallet Curve.

Watch and jewelery brand partners can now offer Tappy-enabled payment devices to Curve’s customers in 31 countries across the EU and the UK.

Wayne LeungCEO and founder of Tappy, said: “This collaboration is poised to bring significant benefits to our partner brands, enabling them to expand their mobile payment offerings to a large customer base across the region.”

A user needs to download the Curve app, link their digital wallet to existing bank accounts, debit or credit cards and tokenize and deliver it to the wearable through Tappy Pay.

Gamers Without Borders is offering a $10 million prize

Players Without Borders (GWB)a global charity e-sports event, kicks off its fourth edition with a charity prize pool of $10 million.

Paymentshield strengthens the quote service for home insurance

Non-life insurance provider Paymentshield has launched its new optimized quote journey for home insurance, enabling financial advisers to deliver a face-to-face quote to their clients in just 40 seconds.

Paymentshield has reduced the number of questions required to generate a quote by pulling in property data from the data provider LexisNexiswhich automatically fills in certain questions.

Louise Pengelly, Proposition Director at Paymentshield, says: “Finding the right balance to ensure that both our advisers and our customer audience have the best possible experience has been a core priority for Paymentshield throughout the development of our new home insurance proposition journey.”

Salmon launches service app

Consumer fintech Salmon has released a service app in the Philippines. You can download it from the App Store and Google Play Store.

Salmon supports payments made through GCash and Maya e-wallets, as well as 7-Eleven and Cebuana Lhuillier branches nationwide.

Shoppers at all Salmon’s partner retailers, including SM Department Store, the largest retailer in the Philippines, can now pay for their purchases in multiple installments using Salmon’s financing service.

Mastercard unveils partnership with Illusions Online

MasterCard and Illusions online have joined forces to launch a unique online platform to provide tailored travel offers to Mastercard cardholders.

It features curated and exclusive deals from the best hotel chains around the world, while offering discounts of up to 30 percent.

The offer will also include tailored travel experiences, such as early check-in, late check-out, room and status upgrades and F&B credits.

The new travel platform will enable Mastercard Titanium, Platinum, World and World Elite cardholders to experience the benefits of the Illusions partnership.
