Paris Blockchain Week and Google Cloud launch the Web3 Startup Competition

Paris Blockchain Week will connect startups with cloud technology, investors, acceleration programs and more.

PARIS – The startup competition at Paris Blockchain Week, starts in collaboration with Google Cloud. Start-ups with a focus on blockchain and Web3 will have until February 15 to apply to participate in this unique opportunity to engage with investors who have a dedicated focus on the industry and convince them to support their projects.

Participants in this inspiring competition will include promising projects in the Web3 and blockchain space. The startup competition will shine a spotlight on high-potential startups, giving more than 100 aspiring entrepreneurs unique exposure, plus feedback from renowned investors. In addition, this competition gives these start-up companies access to financing, acceleration programs and coaching from partners.

Paris Blockchain Week evaluates startups that raised less than €3 million.

Participating investors will be first in line to discover high-potential Web3 start-ups and will have the opportunity ahead of others to invest in these innovators and game changers. During the competition, more than 100 pre-screened decks will be viewed by investors, who will decide which ten projects will be able to live-pitch to investors on March 20. For ten selected entrepreneurs in the program there will be an opportunity to pitch and build their network in the framework of Investors Day.

During the competition, the ten finalist founders will deliver their start-up pitch, followed by a short Q&A session. The judging investors will give their insights and reveal their characters on stage. The jury consists of successful entrepreneurs, investors and thought leaders in the Web3 industry such as Tim Draper, Daniël Rood (Google Cloud), David Prinçay (Binance) and Julien Bouteloup (Stake Capital Group).

The three winning startups will present their project to Paris Blockchain attendees on the main stage at the flagship Paris Blockchain Week Summit.
