Octopus season! Kalmy’s NFT offer gets off to a hot start as 750 squids sell out in less than 15 minutes: last round August 14

Kalmy’s NFT sales have shown encouraging signs after the available collection sells out as soon as it is offered.

Kalmy NFT sales unlock innovations

Kalmar’s initial rounds of Non-Fungible Token (NFT) sales have started on a bright note, as 750 NFT Octopuses with a total value of around $60,000 have sold out in under 15 minutes.

The protocol launched the collection of 8,888 unique hand-picked cephalopods on August 11.

Kalmar rolls out 1,000 NFTs from the collection over four days, and sells 250 Kalmy NFTs at 18:00 UTC every day.

On day one, Kalmy sold all 250 NFTs in under two minutes. On day two, all 250 NFTs were sold in under a minute. On day three, the 250 NFTs sold out in less than 10 minutes.

The sister round takes place on 14 August.

Users can buy a maximum of 50 NFTs per transaction at $85 using $BNB, $BUSD or $CAKE. For a bigger discount, they can buy Kalmy NFTs at $75 with the protocol’s native $KALM token.

The decentralized one-stop platform on BNB Chain intends to unveil a series of innovations after the NFT sale.

BSC News caught up with Kalmar co-founder Mark Viíls, who spoke to us about plans to launch NFT stakes for Kalmy NFTs and other BNB Chain collections.

“CALM from the sale goes to burn, and NFTs can be staked later. Other NFT collections can also be bet on our platform, said Viíls. “APR for stakes will be decided through polls with KALM and there is a pay cap per pool to avoid one pool taking all the rewards.”

Another innovation is free coin for some existing collections on BNB Chain. Kalmar’s publication on August 10 clarified the upcoming development and other incentives to engage the community. Read the document to learn more.
