NFT Predictions for 2023 🔮

2022 is coming to an end and the new year is just around the corner now!

That said, I personally have a lot of predictions for the NFT ecosystem in 2023. I think we’ll see things like:

1. The Big ABC (Art Blocks, BAYC and CryptoPunks Ecosystems) Continue to Dominate Trading Volume

2. The Polygon infra stack continues to win over major brands

3. The intersection of AI advancements + NFTs is booming like never before

4. The Arbitrum and Optimism L2 NFT scenes are enjoying large increases in activity

5. A few more NFT project acquisitions by large companies

6. Web3 social platforms gain a lot of new ground amid continued Twitter chaos

7. An increase in projects exploring use cases around dynamic NFTs

8. Several DeFi projects that embrace NFTs in their operations, e.g. NFT credit score

9. Great growth in the number of people using creator-owned infrastructure such as Manifold and Zora

10. The arrival of the next groundbreaking NFT game

To be sure, there are many more possibilities in play as well! My main takeaway here is that there is a lot to look forward to going into 2023, and I think in the new year we will see significant growth in a number of areas of the NFT ecosystem.
