Early milestone for carbon
Decentralized Web3 browser Carbon has achieved a remarkable feat, surpassing 5.7 million users just seven days after launching its $CSIX token. This milestone reflects the rapid growth of the web3 browser and the community’s trust in decentralization. The team at Carbon has also revealed the roadmap, outlined plans for the future and highlighted key developments and events on the horizon. This includes the launch of new features and partnerships that will further enhance the platform’s capabilities and expand the user base.
What is carbon?
The Carbon browser is a privacy-focused and high-performance Web3 browser that is currently available for Android devices and will soon be available for iOS, Mac OS and PC. Developed by Carbon X Labs, it is a free and open source browser that uses a custom fork of the Chromium browser and the powerful Blink engine. With standard web ad blocking and website tracking, the Carbon browser loads web pages three times faster and saves up to 95% of user data while taking up to 56.7% less space compared to the competition.

Carbon Roadmap

$CSIX | Utility and Governance Token
Carbon is built around the utility and governance token $CSIX (BEP-20), which allows holders to shape the future of the platform via the DAO for community governance, as well as upgrade users to Carbon Pro, which offers improved privacy, greater AdBlock and better distribution of rewards. The platform’s token reward distribution algorithm is built in such a way that it automatically adjusts based on user needs. Aside from Carbon Pro, Carbon has a growing list of partner networks where token rewards can be used, including Amazon and select charities.
Carbon also has a built-in staking dashboard where $CSIX holders can stake their tokens and earn rewards. The stake pools range from 60 – 180 days, with up to 15% APY.
