Deal marks leading Blockchain Company’s first major sports partnership

Media, Pennsylvania–(Newsfile Corp. – Aug. 8, 2022) – The Major League Soccer Players Association (MLSPA) announced today that it has entered into a partnership with Splinterlands, the world’s leading developer of blockchain games.

This unique agreement, starting with Genesis League Soccer (GLS), will see the two companies work together to incorporate MLSPA players into a new Web 3.0 opportunity. MLSPA and Splinterlands will work together to create and develop a play-to-earn (P2E) blockchain soccer-based game, allowing MLSPA players to connect with fans in new ways across both desktop and mobile devices.
