Milady’s NFT floor price is skyrocketing

NFT collection Miladys reigns supreme at OpenSea topping other collections such as Bored Apes after floor prices increased by 59%. The price increase was reported on Wednesday afternoon following a tweet from Elon Musk.

As seen below, the entrepreneur and Twitter boss posted a meme featuring one of Milady’s NFT avatars. Proving that the “Musk Effect”, which triggers a price increase on things sponsored by Musk, is still alive and well.

The gif, which was superimposed with the caption “It’s not a meme, I love you,” immediately caught the attention of the NFT community. Immediately, the market saw Milady’s floor prices record significant gains.

Elon Musk pushes Milady’s Floor Price

Elon Musk is known in the crypto space to have a significant impact on the prices of DOGE and other memecoins. When Musk posted the gif in a chirping on Wednesday, Milady’s NFT collection started to gain popularity on Opensea, and the floor price reached an all-time high of 7.3 ETH ($13,475).

The massive increase in the floor prices of Miladys brought excitement to holders and increased the popularity of the NFT collection, which was relatively popular before Elon’s tweet.

At the time of writing, trading reports from OpenSea on Milady’s NFT collection show a drop in floor prices from 7.3 ETH to 5.4 ETH. Although NFT sales are still up by 1,845 (57%), the collection records an increase in trading volume of +131%.

Milady’s NFT creator Charlotte Fang was reported to have immediately resigned from the project team in May 2022 after publicly apologizing for the statements posted via the pseudonymous account.
