Italy’s Prada announces the second Timecapsule NFT collection after its debut hit

The Italian luxury fashion house Prada will unveil its second Timecapsule NFT collection after the first NFT release is completely sold out. The first Timecapsule NFT Collection, dropped in June, was a collaborative project with artist Cassius Hirst.

The latest Timecapsule item, which will be released on July 7, 2022, is a shirt made from recycled fabric from the Prada archives.

The Prada Timecapsule shirt, which is number 31 in the Timecapsule collection, has the word “July” on the back. It has a black pipeline supplemented with Holliday & Brown tulip prints on a cotton poplin base. The shirt is decorated with a ‘Jacquard Animalier’ silk brocade and lurex fabric in addition to a Jacquard Thrush (flower), which is silk taken from the early 20s.^th century French archive. ‘Poplin Loto’ printed fabric with deco-inspired details further adorns this item in limited edition.

Timecapsule is a monthly online event for 24 hours, the first Thursday of each month. An exclusive item is made available on prada.com in very limited quantities, in selected markets. Each limited edition Timecapsule element is linked to a unique serial number and comes with custom packaging, Prada said in a press release.

NFT includes drops serial number and numbering of each physical item to have an accurate correspondence. NFT owners are then offered exclusive benefits and experiences as well as access to future drops. The Prada Timecapsule NFTs are issued on the Ethereum blockchain, offering a secure and user-friendly experience. The fall has been eased by utilizing Aura Blockchain Consortium’s NFT solution and technology.
