IDC opens nominations for the 20th annual IDC FinTech Rankings

Top 100 solution providers and top 25 companies recognized

NEEDHAM, Mass., May 4, 2023 – Nominations are now open for the 20th Annual IDC FinTech Rankings and the Ninth Annual IDC FinTech Rankings Real Performance 2023. For two decades, IDC Financial Insights has evaluated the revenues of the leading global technology and service providers in the financial services industry to construct the IDC FinTech Rankings. The most comprehensive provider ranking in the financial services industry is based on revenue at the end of the calendar year and the percentage of revenue attributable to financial services and FinTechs. IDC FinTech Rankings: Top 100 and the company’s top 25

The IDC FinTech Rankings categorize and evaluate technology providers strictly based on 2022 calendar year revenue from financial institutions (banking, insurance and/or capital markets) or directly to fintech solution providers for hardware, software and/or services.

Two categories of companies are ranked:

  • IDC FinTech Top 100: Solution providers that derive more than a third of their revenue from the financial services and FinTech industry AND across no more than two additional key non-FSI industry verticals.
  • IDC FinTech Enterprise Top 25: Solution providers that support four or more key industries still have sufficient revenues from financial services and the FinTech industry.

The IDC FinTech Rankings program will also identify two categories for special recognition:

  • IDC FinTech Top 100 New FinTech: Recognizes companies that were not ranked in the previous IDC FinTech Rankings program.
  • IDC FinTech Top 100 Fast Track FinTech: Companies ranked in the previous IDC FinTech Rankings program and have grown noticeably year over year.

Also open for nominations are the 9th annual IDC FinTech Rankings Real Results, which recognize IT vendors who have enabled a genuine, measurable and future-possible change at a client financial institution (bank, capital markets firm or insurance company) in the global financial market. the service industry.
