By now you’ve probably heard it GQ drops his first ever digital art NFT. With 1,661 tokens, the GQ3 Issue 001: Change Is Good collection offers unprecedented access to GQ universe of exclusive experiences and limited edition swag – and some amazing one-of-a-kind digital art from a diverse group of exciting creatives.

We rounded up graphics wizard Chuck Anderson, AI futurist REO, punk cartoonist Kelsey Niziolek, and anime-adjacent rising star Serwah Attafuah for this collection, gave you a chance to meet them, and even shared some previews of their work.

So how do you actually buy a GQ3 NFT? And most importantly, what do you get when you do?

How do you get one?

GQ3 Issue 001 tokens are on the Ethereum blockchain, so you need a digital wallet. But you don’t have to buy cryptocurrency if you don’t want to – you can pay by credit card, if that’s your jam.

Step 1: Set up a digital wallet

You need a digital wallet to store GQ3 Issue 001 NFT. Fortunately, there are a number of options to choose from. Metamask is a popular one, with easy to follow instructions on how to set one up. Just remember: It’s important to read all security information when setting up a digital wallet to ensure you can keep your credentials safe.

Step 2: Get on the whitelist
If you are on this page, we give out special access to the permission list just for you, as one GQ reader. Click on this link and if you are one of the first 200 to do so, you will be on the list to be created from 1:00 PM EST on Wednesday. If that list is closed, and you didn’t make it in the first 200, you’ll still be able to buy during the public sale – which starts at 2pm EST Wednesday March 8th. Step 3: Visit GQ3.io March 8 to buy one

On Wednesday, March 8, you will be able to purchase a GQ3 Issue 001 token on GQ3.io. If you have a spot on the permit list, you can purchase one before the public sale opens. But if you don’t – don’t worry! You can still buy during the public sale if tokens are still available. The process is simple when you get to GQ3.io – you click on Mint to connect to your digital wallet and pay with cryptocurrency, or click on Pay by Card and connect to your digital wallet after payment.

Step 4: View your GQ3 Issue 001 artwork

The GQ3 Issue 001 collection drops like a blind coin. A blind mint means that you will mint without knowing exactly which artwork you will receive – ensuring that everyone has an equal chance of receiving artwork from all of our featured artists. It will also create an exciting surprise when the artwork is revealed on Thursday 9 March. We will celebrate the art unveiling at GQ3 on Twitter and GQ3 on Discord, so join us.

Step 5: Visit GQ3.io March 13 to claim your benefits

On Monday, March 13, visit GQ3.io again to share your shipping information to claim your GQ Box, other merchandise, and magazine subscription.

What do you actually get?

Owning one of GQ3’s 1661 tokens will give you access to a new world of GQ— members and alpha only events in Discord, exclusive content from GQ visible only to token holders, first-in-line access to future drops and more.

Parties
No one throws a party like GQ. You’ll be invited to members-only GQ3 parties, starting with our first party in New York in April.
