Flight Radar Report Shows FTX Co-Founder’s Private Jet Flew to Argentina, SBF Says He’s Still in the Bahamas – Bitcoin News

According to Flightradar24’s official Twitter account, the most tracked flight was at 03:33 on 12 November 2022 Sam Bankman-Fried’s (SBF) private jet flying from the Bahamas to Argentina. Although the flight track does not mean that SBF took the plane, a number of people suspected that someone from SBF’s inner circle flew out of the Bahamas. However, the former FTX chief sent a text message to Reuters after the flight report, telling the news agency that he did not leave the Bahamas.

Former FTX CEO and frontman Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) has been in the spotlight all week after his once-worth $32 billion stock market shuddered and filed for bankruptcy protection.

After the bankruptcy filing in Delaware, FTX US users began to complain of withdrawal problems. Then on November 12, around 3:00 AM (ET), reports indicated that FTX wallets may have been hacked. Some of the funds were sent to Kraken and Kraken’s head of security, Nick Percoco, told the public they have identified the user.

Interestingly, around the same time, people began to notice that FTX wallets were being emptied. Flightradar24’s official Twitter account tweeted about the most tracked flight around 03:33 on November 12, 2022.

“Most Tracked Planes Right Now,” Flightradar24 wrote. “According to tweets, founder and former CEO of the [FTX] is heading to Argentina after the FTX collapse earlier this week.”

Some observers of the Flightradar24 tweets, such as popular whistleblower Fatman, did not like Flightradar24’s statement. “Shouldn’t be tweeting this. Zero confirmation or proof that this is SBF,” Fatman black to Flightradar24’s tweet.

Although the radar report shows that SBF’s private jet set off for Argentina, there is no way to tell who was on the trip without the official flight logs. Following the speculation, the news publication Reuters published an article saying that SBF did not leave the Bahamas.

“When asked by Reuters if he had flown to Argentina, Bankman-Fried replied in a text message: ‘No.’ He told Reuters he was in the Bahamas,” the article’s author explained.
