Fintech Galaxy appoints Turki AlAhmed as Bahrain Country Manager

Fintech Galaxy, Open Finance Platform, Turki joins Fintech Galaxy Bahrain as Country Manager to turbocharge Fintech Galaxy’s efforts to push financial inclusion forward.

Turki has previously led the partnerships by developing strong collaborations with the banks and non-bank members, sustaining innovation and promoting a cashless society, having helped to streamline government processes, in his previous roles.

The FinTech company has also appointed Sara Al Zeera as Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering, primarily to support the introduction of Open Banking in the Kingdom.

This appointment comes just months after the company announced its successful licensing as an Account Information Service Provider (AISP) with the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB), becoming the first central bank-regulated Open Finance platform in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

Present in the UAE, KSA, Bahrain, Egypt, Lebanon and Moldova, Fintech Galaxy continues to expand its offering for banks, financial institutions, merchants and FinTechs as it pursues its ambition to develop its platform FINX to deliver Open Banking and Open Finance infrastructure.
