The Dojo team occupies a large part of the first floor and the entire second floor, with the new offices receiving customer service, commercial and IT teams.

Dojo has moved the Hull team from its former offices in Warehouse 6 in Princes Dock Street downtown.

This means that the 20,000 square meter three-storey building is now fully let, after being speculatively developed during the pandemic.

“We are big investors in our people and culture, and moving to such a vibrant area of Hull makes it an even better place to work for our teams.

“The place is great, both internally and externally, and we are happy to be surrounded by like-minded companies in this growing technology community.”

The company, which also has bases in London, Bristol and Belfast, continues to offer its employees flexible work arrangements, dividing the week between the new C4DI office and working from home.

Commercial Support Manager Ashleigh Sainsbury said: “The Fruit Market area is fantastic. It’s great to see how much it’s grown and developed and it’s the perfect place for us to continue to attract fresh talent.

“During the lockdown, my team doubled in size, and it’s great to be able to welcome them all to the office in such an exciting new work environment. Working together personally and collaborating with each other really improves the customer experience as well.”

John Gouldthorp, Asset Manager at Wykeland, said: “Securing Dojo is a big bargain for C4DI and @TheDock, as it brings a huge national technology brand and nearly 200 jobs to this thriving digital community.

“It underlines the positive effect of establishing a hub to bring the city’s leading digital businesses and specialists together. Just a few years after the opening of the first C4DI building, the technology community has grown into one of Britain’s most powerful digital clusters.

– Dojo’s decision also emphasizes how attractive the fruit market is as a workplace. Companies recognize that their employees and potential recruits want to work in a place that offers a vibrant lifestyle and opportunities to socialize during breaks and after work. ”

The Dojo move is the latest in a series of investments that bring technical jobs to C4DI and @TheDock.

The second C4DI building welcomed its first occupant in October last year when the leading digital retail marketing agency Summit Media opened a new office for its 60-person team on the ground floor.

The Next Door by Nibble takeaway café is located on the ground floor, while the building also has a media suite and meeting room area, which is available for rent, and offers parking on the ground floor for 25 cars, for the use of residents.
