DS Group launches its first NFT on 93rd Founders’ day

DS Group (Dharampal Satyapal Group) is one Multi-Business Corporation and one of the leading FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) conglomerates with a strong Indian and international presence.

The group was founded in 1929, and is celebrating its 93rd year^rd Founders Day to commemorate an era of setting new standards and conquering new territories. To mark the auspicious occasion, DS Group launched its first NFT, which honored the visionary zeal and enduring ethos of its founders Lala Dharampal Ji and Shri Satyapal ‘Sugandhi’.

This distinct mosaic is a memorial tribute to the founding fathers, using 93 images, each depicting a part of the journey the founding fathers embarked on.

Hailing from the agrarian roots of Karnal, Lala Dharampal Ji laid the foundations of his entrepreneurial journey with a modest perfume shop in Old Delhi’s quaint Chandni Chowk. Following in his footsteps, his son Shri Satyapal ‘Sugandhi’ nurtured his penchant for business and shaped the group into what we know today.

This NFT captures the core of the foundation and thus reveals the larger portrait of the founders. With NFT entitled “A dream in a million metaphors”, the group has beautifully leveraged Web 3.0 to bring to life the historical moments in its vastness via an experimental microsite depicting the non-fungible history of the group.
