DraftKings Reignmakers Fantasy Football NFT Contest Preview for NFL Week 18

The inaugural DraftKings Reignmakers Football season rolls on! We’ve reached week 18 and there’s another great set of competitions in print.

We’ve taken a look at what Reignmakers is, how to play and everything leading up to the competition page, but this preview will be your one-stop shop for breaking down each competition and some key details you’ll want to know heading into the week 18. There are two competition types (Showdown and Classic), similar to what the conventional DFS competitions offer, but there are five levels of competition options to choose from: CORE, RARE, ELITE, LEGENDARY and REIGNMAKER.

This week there are two classic boards, one for the two games on Saturday and one for the 14 games on Sunday.

Let’s take a closer look at the contests available for each day:

CLASSICAL

The public competition distribution is six COREsix RARELYfive ELITEfive LEGENDARY and three RAIN MAKER competitions.
Each competition has prizes ranging from cash to booster packs.
Each contest also has a “card requirement”, which is listed under the requirements column on the contest lobby page.

Let’s take a closer look at each level of the classic competitions:

CORE

Some contests in this tier have total cash prizes of up to $50,000 and RMF packages.
The highest prize money is in $50K Fiat Frenzywith first place taking home $5,000.
On Saturday, the highest prize money is in $10K Fiat Frenzywith first place taking home $1,000.
The Booster Pack Party the contest will award a 2022 Booster Pack Vol. 1 to the top 250.
Each competition requires at least five CORE (or rarer) cards to enter a valid lineup in the competition.

RARELY

Some contests in this tier have total prize money of up to $80,000 and RMF packages.
The highest prize money is in $80K Fiat Frenzywith first place taking home $10,000.
On Saturday, the highest prize money is in $15K Fiat Frenzywith first place taking home $1,500.
The Booster Pack Party the contest will award a 2022 Booster Pack Vol. 1 to the top 250.
Each competition requires at least one CORE and four RARE (or rarer) cards to enter a valid lineup in the competition.

ELITE

Some contests in this tier have total prize money of up to $250,000.
The highest prize money is in $250K Fiat Frenzywith first place taking home $100,000.
On Saturday, the highest prize money is in $20K Fiat Frenzywith first place taking home $5,000.
Each contest requires at least one RARE and four ELITE (or rarer) cards to enter a valid lineup in the contest.

LEGENDARY

Some contests in this tier have total prize money of up to $100,000.
The highest prize money is in $100,000 Fiat Frenzywith first place taking home $10,000.
On Saturday, the highest prize money is in $20K Fiat Frenzywith first place taking home $5,000.
Each competition requires at least two LEGENDARY and three ELITE (or rarer) cards to enter a valid lineup in the competition.

RAIN MAKER

Some contests in this tier have total prize money of up to $125,000.
The highest prize money is in $125,000 The Alpha competition, where first place takes home $25,000.
On Saturday, the highest prize money is in $25K Fiat Frenzywith first place taking home $5,000.
Each competition requires at least three LEGENDARY (or rarer) and two REIGNMAKER cards to enter a valid lineup in the competition.

The DraftKings Marketplace is currently only available in the US and Canada.

You must be 18+* in one of the 50 US states or Canada to buy and sell NFTs on the DraftKings Marketplace.

*Must be 19+ in Alabama and Nebraska.

*Must be 21+ in Iowa, Louisiana and Massachusetts.
