August 30 Watch Party Recap
Sports collectibles experts Chris Costa and Big Night co-owner Randy Greenstein kicked off the watch party by welcoming viewers and introducing themselves, previewing a fun night of breaking Reignmakers Football packages.
Randy delved into the details of why Reignmakers Football is such an enticing concept, as the game mixes fantasy football, NFTs and sports cards/collectibles. Chris agreed, and also praised the engaged community around Reignmakers.
Randy started opening packages on stream, and launched into a LEGENDARY break. Before Randy and Chris revealed the LEGENDARY card, they were happy to see an ELITE Amon-Ra St. Brown in the pack.
After minutes of stressing how much he didn’t want a LEGENDARY tight end, Randy landed…a tight end.
It was Kyle Pitts, though, and Randy admitted he couldn’t be mad about it.
Chris opened an ELITE pack next, landing a RARE Miles Sanders and ELITE JuJu Smith-Schuster. The two talked about their high expectations for JuJu this season catching passes from Patrick Mahomes, and explored the market for Smith-Schuster.
The next pack Chris opened was RARE, and got a Mo Alie-Cox card in the same tier. Costa got another RARE tight end in the ensuing package, as Pat Freiermuth joined his collection.
Randy opened a RARE pack next, and was excited to see an ELITE Romeo Doubs land in it. RARE Antonio Gibson joined Randy’s gathering next, and the two discussed his potential role in Washington’s offense.
Near the end of the stream, Randy shocked everyone by purchasing a 2022 Elevate REIGNMAKER package for $29,999.00. The two broke down the tantalizing odds that REIGNMAKER packs present for a little while, working through potential lineups.
