Cryptocurrency Price Today: Bitcoin Rises 4%, Shiba Inu Up 6% As Crypto Markets Rise

Cryptocurrency prices are back in the green this Friday morning. The global cryptocurrency market cap has increased by 2.79 percent and the global cryptocurrency market cap is $944.24 billion, but still below $1 trillion. The total cryptocurrency market volume in the last 24 hours is $85.16 billion, marking a 93.62 percent uptrend. The volume of all stablecoins is $78.95 billion, 92.21 percent of the total crypto market’s 24-hour volume.

Bitcoin, Ethereum and BNB

Bitcoin, Ethereum and BNB are in the green in the last 24 hours.

Bitcoin is trading at $19,849 and is up 4.01 percent. Its dominance is 40.39 percent. The Ethereum blockchain’s native token rose 2.83 percent and is trading at $1,329. BNB, the native cryptocurrency of the Binance Smart Chain, witnessed an uptrend of 2.09 percent.

Stable coins

Stablecoins did not show much volatility and remained pegged at $1.

USDT Tether stablecoin showed 0.01 percent positive change in value in the last 24 hours and is trading at $1. The USDC stablecoin also rose 0.01 percent to trade at $1. BinanceUSD or BUSD witnessed a 0.01 percent positive change in value over the past 24 hours. The stablecoin is also trading at $1.

Stablecoin DAI rose 0.13 percent and is trading at $1.

Layer 1 blockchain tokens

All the top cryptocurrencies native to layer 1 blockchain networks such as Ripple, Solana, Avalanche and Cardano have also shown positive movement in the last 24 hours.

Solana blockchain’s SOL witnessed a rise of 2.34 percent, while Avalanche’s AVAX increased by 2.91 percent. Cardano’s ADA showed a 2.59 percent uptrend. XRP Ripple rose 5.04 percent.

Polka dot and polygon

Polkadot’s native cryptocurrency, DOT, and Polygon’s native crypto token, MATIC, showed positive momentum.

The DOT token is up 2.20 percent and Polygon’s MATIC crypto token is up 2.76 percent in the last 24 hours.

Memecoins

Memecoins showed positive momentum. Dogecoin is up 2.38 percent, while the meme cryptocurrency Shiba Inu has risen 6.01 percent in the last 24 hours.

Overall, the majority of top cryptocurrency tokens have witnessed an uptrend from their previous positions over the past 24 hours.
