Cryptocurrency Price Today: Bitcoin, MATIC, Dogecoin Fall as Crypto Markets Bleed Red

Cryptocurrency prices are back in the red on Thursday morning. The global cryptocurrency market cap has fallen 1.17 percent and the global cryptocurrency market cap is $915.64 billion. The total cryptocurrency market volume in the last 24 hours is $44.92 billion, marking an increase of 17.24 percent. The volume of all stablecoins is $41.6 billion, 92.70 percent of the total crypto market 24-hour volume.

Bitcoin, Ethereum and BNB

Bitcoin, Ethereum and BNB are in the green in the last 24 hours.

Bitcoin is trading at $19,057 and is down 1.14 percent. Its dominance is at 39.94 percent, up by 0.04 percent. The Ethereum blockchain network’s native token fell 1.80 percent and is trading at $1,280. BNB, the native cryptocurrency of the Binance Smart Chain, witnessed a downward trend of 0.49 percent.

Stable coins

Stablecoins did not show much volatility and remained pegged at $1.

USDT Tether stablecoin showed 0.00 change in value in the last 24 hours and is trading at $1. The USDC stablecoin changed 0.00 percent and is also trading at $1.

Stablecoin DAI rose 0.04 percent to trade at $1. BinanceUSD or BUSD witnessed a 0.02 percent positive change in value in the last 24 hours. The stablecoin is also trading at $1.

Layer 1 blockchain tokens

All top cryptos native to layer 1 blockchain networks such as Ripple, Solana, Avalanche and Cardano have shown negative movement in the last 24 hours.

Solana blockchain’s SOL witnessed a downward trend of 3.45 percent, while Avalanche’s AVAX fell 3.67 percent. Cardano’s ADA showed a downward trend of 2.01 percent. XRP Ripple fell 0.68 percent.

Polka dot and polygon

Polkadot’s native cryptocurrency, DOT, and Polygon’s native crypto token, MATIC showed negative movement over the past 24 hours.

The DOT token is down 0.79 percent and Polygon’s MATIC crypto token is down 3.47 percent in the last 24 hours.

Memecoins

Memecoins showed mixed momentum. Dogecoin is down 1.37 percent, while memecoin Shiba Inu has fallen 1.94 percent in the last 24 hours.

Overall, the majority of the top cryptocurrency tokens have witnessed a significant downtrend from their previous positions over the past 24 hours.
