Global cryptocurrency markets rose 2.52 percent on Wednesday morning, reaching $1.03 trillion. Bitcoin (BTC) and other popular altcoins increased in value

Global crypto market sentiment was bullish on February 14, 2023. It was a profitable day for Bitcoin (BTC), Dogecoin (DOGE), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL) and other major altcoins.

The global cryptocurrency market capitalization stood at $1.03 trillion at 11:00 PM IST, up 2.51 percent from the previous day, according to a data from coinmarket.com.

The top trending crypto was PancakeSwap (CAKE), but the biggest gainer for the day was SingularityNET (AGIX), up 26.54 percent to $0.4592, while the top loser was Maker (MKR), down 2.08 percent to $732.04 .

Cryptocurrency prices

Bitcoin: The price of Bitcoin rose by 1.82 percent to $22,130. Bitcoin has been in the green since 20:15 IST on February 14, 2023, after many days of losses.

In half an hour, the price rose from $21,744 to $22,280. As a result, trading volume jumped from $23.11 billion to $25.01 billion. After that, the price of BTC has shown minimal fluctuations.

Ethereum: ETH’s price rose by 3.39 percent to $1,551.56.

After trading in the red for many days, ETH turned green at 2:45 PM IST on Tuesday and has remained there ever since. At 20:05 on February 14, 2023, the price increased from $1,503 to $1,561 in half an hour. The trading volume level rose from $7.99 billion to $8.96 billion. Prices have remained relatively stable since then.

The lowest price for ETH was $1,499. ETH trading volume increased by 5.68 percent to $9.25 billion.

Other Altcoins

Solana (SOL) was up 3.49 percent at $21.57. In the 24-hour trade, Ripple’s (XRP) price rose 3.40 percent to $0.3812, even as trading volume fell 5.41 percent.

Cardano (ADA) was up 8.12 percent to $0.3854. After an increase of 50.67 percent, the 24-hour trading volume reached $508 million.

Binance (BNB) rose 1.72 percent to $297.18. Its 24-hour trading volume was down 50.34 percent to $640 million.

Meme Coins

Dogecoin rose 5.46 percent to $0.08595 and 24-hour trading volume rose 17.38 percent.

Shiba Inu was up 3.42 percent to $0.00001277.

Decentralized Finance (DeFi)

Yearn.Finance (YFI) rose 3.88 percent, even as 24-hour trading volume rose 21.44 percent.

Avalanche (AVAX) was up 3.55 percent at $18.06, and 24-hour trading volume was up 7.47 percent.

Aave (AAVE) traded up 3.62 percent to $84.14.
