Near – open source, climate neutral blockchain and Blockchain Operating System (BOS) creator, announced a strategic partnership with leading blockchain gaming company WEMADE to support blockchain app development in Korea and other markets.

Near and WEMADE will jointly support initiatives to increase mutual brand awareness; invest in research and collaboration across chains; host more community events such as hackathons and boot camps; and scouting potential Web3 business opportunities and nurturing the next generation of Web3 developers.

There has been consistent investment in the Web3 blockchain gaming industry, with more than $500 million invested between October and November last year.
