CleanSpark expands Bitcoin mining capacity by over 90

LAS VEGAS, July 14, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – CleanSpark, Inc. (Nasdaq: CLSK) (the “Company”), a sustainable bitcoin mining and energy technology company, today announced that it has purchased 1,061 Whatsminer M30S machines already is the extraction of bitcoin at Coinmints renewable co-location facilities. The move adds approximately 93 petahashes per second (PH / s) of computing power to the company’s existing mining capacity.

The company bought the machines at a significant discount compared to the spot market price just a few months ago. This is the company’s second bulk purchase of machines in about a month. Immediately after the market decline in June, the company bought, at an exceptionally discounted price, a purchase contract for 1800 units of Antminer S19 XP bitcoin miners.

The company’s computing power has increased by 47% over the last six months, while its monthly bitcoin production has grown 50% in the same time period. “These key KPIs underscore the fact that our growth exceeds global hash rate, particularly our ability to stay ahead of adjustments to networking difficulties. We believe that our operational strategy focused on efficiency, uptime and performance will allow these calculations to continually improve,” says Bradford.
