Considering that many of our readers are new to the crypto space, we want one mix of simple and technical questions.

Ours project manager Nick has a background from the traditional business world within the event and hospitality industry. Ours lead developer has experience in game and web developmentboth community manager and main moderator happen to have one military background.

What is Battle Borgz, how do you integrate NFTs and why have you chosen the Cardano blockchain for your project?

Battle Borgz is one multiplayer PvP and PvE isometric battle arena game based on the Cardano blockchain. Our players will use their NFTs as in-game characters to access our ranked modewe want one too free to play mode where an NFT is not required. The benefits of playing ranked mode are the ability to win our token, BORGZ. Players can enjoy our game while earning our token spend on in-game boosts or to transfer to ADA/FIAT currency.

Cardano is the ideal blockchain for projects like ours to develop and operate onbecause of low transaction fees and high security levels. Especially the low transaction fees are perfect for a battle arena game like ours. Our fast-paced game means that our matches will be over relatively quickly and many BORGZ transactions must be made at the end of matches. Cardano’s low fees also mean that players can use their BORGZ for purchase certain items in our game at almost no additional cost.

The other main reason we choose Cardano is the chain’s high level of security. We want users’ wallets and funds to be 100% secure, Cardano is the smart decision in this regard. We could go on longer here, for many reasons. The last one I want to mention is that our team has been involved with Cardano for some time and we have a shared affection for it.

What stage of development are you at? What can users already do to interact with the Battle Borgz universe?

We are in phase 2 of our roadmap. Milestones completed in phase 1 include:

  • $BORGZ sale
  • 3D game environment development
  • HUD development
  • 3D character development
  • $BORGZ strike
  • 3D character animation

Everything we have developed so far is before any NFT sales, we wanted to be among the few projects that show proven game development before any NFT sales. We are at the stage in our roadmap now where our Origins V.1 mint will take place for us to continue our development.

The battle against BorgzBattle Borgz will be minted on August 13 and can also be done through Eternl mobile wallet

After our NFT coin we will move on with Phase 2this involves a lot more character and environmental development, as well as really getting stuck in code the game and develop how our characters interact with each other.

Where do you see your project in 1 year and beyond?

1 year from now, we intend to be live with our PvP mode, introductory maps and game modes, and to have full-fledged lore and stories that involve our players deeply in the Borgz universe. In the time after our first launch of the main network, we will work with develop our game system, including new maps, game modes, characters/factions and more. We will continuously monitor our token cycle in our game economy, we need to analyze this data to ensure longevity of the game.

Our long-term vision is that Battle Borgz will be among the most respected/known Cardano and Play to Earn projects. Our ethos is about putting more control in the hands of our players, we believe that if we stick to this and our other values then Our player base will continue to expand over time.
