Bware Labs upends the status quo in the blockchain sector with the introduction of the Blast mainnet

Bware Labs, a leading provider of blockchain infrastructure, is pleased to announce the launch of Blast mainnet which brings a new generation of blockchain APIs.

Created as a blockchain API platform, Blast is designed to provide easy blockchain access to the most relevant networks within the blockchain space. Blast helps developers bring RPC, WebSocket and REST access to the growing number of blockchain networks. This is done by following a few simple steps.

In particular, the Blast mainnet will allow the company to introduce a new generation of blockchain APIs. These APIs will mainly rely on Blast’s Proof of Quality protocol for speed and reliability because their nodes can satisfy the platform’s performance and data integrity standards. The Proof of Quality protocol allows node owners to join the Blast Protocol as node providers without permission.

After launch, Node vendors who wish to participate in the Blast protocol must stake blast tokens. The Blast delegation explorer Blast will also allow other users to earn an APY by delegating to node providers.

Commenting on the mainnet, Bware Labs CEO Flavian Manea explained:

“The biggest challenge is being true to your word when it comes to what you want to bring to the table. Maintaining above-industry standards in terms of quality while running the platform in a decentralized manner is definitely not easy. To deal with that, we had to find our own routes and methods that could ensure that the nodes on Blast provide the required performance and that would not hinder the scalability potential of Blast. Now decentralization is in sight – all hands-on decks, boys, let’s launch this ship!”

Flavian added that the mainnet would allow the community to participate in the protocol by delegating Blasts INFRA tokens to available staking pools.

According to the Blast team, the mainnet launch is part of the company’s ongoing commitment to supporting Web3 developers. Blast hopes to help developers throughout their blockchain journey by providing high-quality solutions that enable them to scale their products faster and easier.

Blast plans to roll out the mainnet in stages. At the end of the Houston Testnet, Bware plans to start taking part in the testnet participants. Two weeks after that, Blast will start the permissionless onboarding for anyone who wants to become a node provider, which will be done together with the launch of the INFRA token.
