BTC prices stop, heading into the weekend – Market updates Bitcoin news

Bitcoin prices were largely unchanged early in Friday’s session, as traders prepared for the weekend. After a strong start to the week, crypto prices have largely consolidated in recent days. ETH once again traded close to support at $ 1750.

Bitcoin

After a strong start to the week that saw BTC peak at almost $ 32,000, prices have since consolidated and traded just under $ 30,000.

So far into Friday’s session, BTC was once again lower, as it continued to trade below this level, reaching a low during the day of $ 29,732.91 in the process.

This lowest comes as prices continue to trade below this week’s resistance level of $ 30,500, and instead have moved closer to support of $ 29,500.

Despite these recent declines, bitcoin is still almost 1% higher than at the same time last week, when prices traded below $ 29,000.

In addition to this, the 14-day RSI has not yet broken the floor of 45, which means that bulls are still hovering around waiting for an ideal time to enter the market again.

The 10-day moving average has now also turned downwards, with a potential for a downward cross, but should a bullish wave begin, we can see sentiment change.

Ethereum

ETH traded below $ 1,800 again on Friday, when prices fell for a fourth straight session.

Although these declines have been marginal, this bearish momentum has led to ethereum struggling to move above $ 1,800 this week.

At the time of writing, the ETH / USD fell to a low during the day of $ 1,761.05 in today’s session, coming less than 24 hours after a peak of $ 1,812.90.

Despite this, a look at the last seven days will show that there has been a marginal price increase of 0.33%.

This has meant that ETH has continued to trade above support at $ 1750, despite bearish sentiment trying to move below this point.

In addition to this, if the RSI continues to stay above its own floor of 38, we can probably see the ETH recover some of its upward momentum.
