Most of the cryptocurrencies in the market are in the green for the day so far, and the same can be said about the meme coin (SHIB). According to CoinMakretCap, SHIB is currently up 13.11% to now trade at $0.00001071. The crypto was able to reach a high of $0.00001039 over the same time period. SHIB is also still in the green by more than 25% in the last week.
Looking at the longer time frames, we see that SHIB is also still up more than 19% over the last thirty days. This positive performance of the meme coin has earned it a spot on CoinMalretCap’s trending list.

SHIB strengthened against the two largest cryptos, (BTC) and (ETH), by 1.9% and 2.71% respectively in the last day as well. Also in the green zone is SHIB’s 24-hour trading volume which now stands at $538,760,441 after an increase of more than 60%.
With a market capitalization of $5,880,947,458, SHIB is currently the 15th largest crypto by market capitalization. This puts the meme coin right behind TRON (TRX) in 14th place and ahead of Dai (DAI) which is ranked 16th on the list of largest cryptos.

Tech entrepreneur and blockchain advocate Shannon Bray took to Twitter on January 14 to share his opinion on SHIB. Bray stated that although SHIB currently sits in 15th place in terms of market capitalization, he believes that SHIB will soon begin to climb the ranks.
