The global cryptocurrency market rose 1.06 percent on Tuesday morning, clawing back losses from yesterday to reach $1.13 trillion. Bitcoin and Ethereum increased in value

It was a bullish day for the crypto market on February 21, 2023 after a day of losses. Bitcoin and Ethereum traded in gains. However, Solana, Binance and many major altcoins suffered losses.

The global cryptocurrency market capitalization stood at $1.13 trillion at 11 a.m. IST, up 1.06 percent from the previous day, according to data from coinmarket.com.

Total crypto market volume fell by 1.58 percent to $62.23 billion in the last 24 hours.

The top trending crypto was STEPN (GMT), for the second day in a row, but the biggest gainer for the day was Conflux (CFX), up 56.43 percent to $0.3399. The biggest loser was Rocket Pool (RPL), down 3.51 percent to $49.08.

Cryptocurrency prices

Bitcoin: The price of Bitcoin rose by 1.82 percent to $24,914.21. BTC’s rapid surge was halted yesterday, but it recovered from losses yesterday. Bitcoin’s price rose from $23,481 to $24,872 in 30 minutes from 14:55 IST on Monday. Since then, BTC has continued to trade in the green.

In 24 hours, trading volume fell by 1.95 percent to $38.31 billion.

Ethereum: ETH’s price rose 0.54 percent to $1,698.19. The rapid increase in ETH was halted yesterday, but ETH recovered from its losses. After At 11:30 AM IST on 20 February 2023, Ethereum was trading in the green with rapid surges and falls.

The lowest price for ETH was $1,686.70 and the highest price was $1,716.49. ETH’s trading volume decreased by 4.24 percent to $7.33 billion.

Other Altcoins

Solana (SOL) decreased by 1.41 percent to 26 dollars.

In its 24-hour trade, Ripple’s (XRP) price rose 1.56 percent to $0.3945, while trading volume rose 50 percent.

Cardano (ADA) fell 0.36 percent to $0.402. After a fall of 5.02 percent, the 24-hour trading volume reached $360 million.

Binance (BNB) fell 0.32 percent to $314.98. Its 24-hour trading volume rose 21.90 percent to $660.6 million.

Meme Coins

Dogecoin rose 0.04 percent to $0.088, and 24-hour trading volume fell 22.28 percent.

Shiba Inu was down 0.13 percent at $0.00001347.

Decentralized Finance (DeFi)

Yearn.Finance (YFI) rose 1.38 percent, although 24-hour trading volume was down 18.51 percent.

Avalanche (AVAX) was up 0.78 percent at $20.53, and 24-hour trading volume was up 33.65 percent.

Aave (AAVE) traded up 0.99 percent to $90.93.
