The most glamorous moments on the PGA Golf Tour are set to be featured in an upcoming NFT collection by Autograph. The NFT platform was originally created by NFL player Tom Brady, who now finds himself in good company as legendary golfer Tiger Woods joins the advisory team at Autograph. Woods is reportedly pleased with the partnership between the NFT platform and the PGA Tour, believing it will “create a connection between us as players and the fans.”

A Web 3.0 Hall of Fame for Golf

Sports and entertainment-focused NFT platform Autograph previously worked with R&B star The Weeknd, with the ‘Blinding Lights’ NFT collection released to celebrate the single’s success.

Now Autograph NFT has scored its first major sports league client. The NFT collections to be displayed at the PGA Tour Golf NFT will include highlights from the careers of some of golf’s most iconic players, while other NFTs will serve as admission tickets. According to the PGA Tour’s press release, the company will distribute tickets to real events, as well as digital passes through the NFTs.

Benefits for NFT collectors

Although the Autograph x PGA Tour Golf NFT collection is not scheduled to release until early 2023, NFT passes are already on sale. To give an idea of what form these might take, Tom Brady 2022 season tickets are limited to 1,669 NFTs and cost $750.
