Venturelab is proud to announce the selection of ten ambitious Swiss fintech startups ready to increase their presence and increase their growth on the international stage. The 10 startups will start their Venture Leaders experience in November and will represent Swiss innovation at Fintech Connect in London, the premier conference in the heart of one of the most dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystems in Europe. This is the fifth edition of the Venture Leaders Fintech roadshow.

Venturelab has been organizing international roadshows for the Swiss start-up team for 18 years. The aspiring entrepreneurs and their promising startups selected to participate in the program are introduced to leading experts, investors and potential customers in technology hubs around the world, including Silicon Valley, Boston, New York, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Barcelona and London

Swiss fintech startups attracted close to CHF 755 million in investment in the first three quarters of 2022, signaling great potential for growth and global expansion to the sector’s leaders.

The Venture Leaders Fintech roadshow 2022 will take the Swiss National Fintech Team to the Fintech Expo in London, a vibrant venue that allows startups to grow their network and expand their reach. The roadshow is organized in collaboration with Swissnex, and supported by EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne), ETH Zurich and Walder Wyss.

Venture Leader’s Fintech alumni include high-flying startups such as Qumram (acquired by Dynatrace), AAAccell (acquired by LPA Group), TP24, Lend, Sonect, CreditGate24, Algotrader and many more.

“This Venture Leaders Fintech 2022 team offers an impressive range of products that serve SMEs, investors, financial institutions and NGOs to help them take their business forward,” says Jordi Montserrat, CEO of Venturelab. “From ease of implementation to cost effectiveness, these new solutions are here to make a difference. Sandipan Chakraborty, founder and CEO of Sonect and Venture Leader Fintech 2017, explains what can be gained from the experience: “Venture Leaders is a program that helps founders expand their vision beyond Swiss borders and reinforces their ambitions to become a global leader. “

Sonect made steady gains since participating in Venture Leaders Fintech 2017. After the roadshow, it secured various investments, allowing it to expand its operations in European markets, most recently, also in Mexico. The Zurich-based company ranked the TOP 100 Swiss Startups every year from 2018 to 2021 and was selected as one of the TOP 100 Scale-Ups in 2022.

“If you need to do a litmus test of a market by engaging with potential customers or connecting with local investors to access their network,” says Chakraborty, “Venture Leaders is the right program to get you tangible results in just one week!”

This year’s Venture Leaders Fintech will introduce themselves and their startups at a virtual kickoff session on November 2, 2022. This event will be open to the public and will provide a showcase for the 10 game-changing innovations that the 2022 Swiss National Startup Team will present in London. Register here.
