Everscale Foundation Launches, Here’s How It’s Helping Blockchain Companies and Developers

The Everscale Foundation, an independent non-profit organization based in Switzerland, has launched. The organization was created by members of the Everscale community who want to strengthen the ecosystem offerings of the Everscale network, increase the size of the community and attract new talent.

Last year, leading Asian blockchain network Everscale activated its long-awaited DAO governance protocol. The result of this activation was the complete decentralization of network administration, with community members now given equal footing to participate and initiate significant changes to the network. One of the most consistent results of The DAO’s activation was a vote that passed near the end of the year proposing the creation of a non-profit Everscale Foundation tasked with driving community growth, integrating new platforms into the network’s ecosystem, and identifying and onboarding new development talent .

This foundation, now called the Everscale Foundation, is now officially launched and registered as a non-profit organization in Zug, Switzerland. Given the network’s decentralized nature, the Foundation will now fulfill the crucial role of Everscale representation, serving as an evangelistic entity, point of reference and intermediary between the network and the global community.

Identification and introduction of promising companies and individuals

Now that it is operational, the Everscale network will be streamlining the process for businesses and individuals who want to contribute to the network and use the technology. Given the authority of the Everscale DAO, the foundation will work to identify projects and individuals capable of adding value to the network’s ecosystem and provide assistance as they progress through each stage of the onboarding and development processes.

Working with authorities and high-load projects

Given Everscale’s unique technical capabilities, the network has emerged as one of the best conditions for governments and large-scale enterprises looking to integrate blockchain technology into their work models. Everscale has the ability to scale to any network load, regardless of size, without affecting transaction times or processing fees. This gives it a huge advantage over other networks for entities looking to launch CBDCs and other massive projects. The Everscale Foundation will focus on identifying projects that can benefit from what the network has to offer and bring those projects officially into the fold.

Media partnerships, marketing campaigns and Everscale evangelism

In addition to ecosystem expansion, the foundation will also be the driving force behind efforts to increase global awareness of Everscale. Within the foundation there will be a press house which will be a direct point of contact between the network and external media and will also work to spread the message about the network and increase its information availability. Thanks to the foundation, Everscale will host several of its own events and participate in blockchain-related events around the world.

While the foundation is authorized by the Everscale DAO, it remains an independent entity that does not have control over the network. In line with its decentralized philosophy, Everscale has delegated key responsibilities to the organization, while allowing the community to have an important influence on the development direction the network takes. Grants and governance decisions will continue to be decided via voting on the network’s DAO.
