Square Enix celebrates the grand opening of the official website and discord for ‘SYMBIOGENESIS’, its first NFT collectible art project
– Go on a treasure hunt and find free digital art today, Web3 Digital Collectible Art Experience to be launched in spring 2023 –
TOKYO, March 17, 2023–(BUSINESS WIRE)–SQUARE ENIX CO., LTD. (the “Company”) launched the official website and Discord for its ‘SYMBIOGENESIS’ digital collectible art experience today. While players await the start of ‘SYMBIOGENESIS’ later this spring, they can participate in a treasure hunt to find digital art, the “Member Card”, which allows them to earn game points for future use in the Web3 game world. The treasure hunt starts today through Tuesday, April 4th on the SYMBIOGENESIS website, and clues to the digital art’s whereabouts can be found on the official Discord community server.

The world of ‘SYMBIOGENES’
‘SYMBIOGENESIS’ is a brand new entertainment service that combines free browser-based content with 10,000 artworks.
Plagued by unexpected disasters, players search for countless objects and the cause of the misfortunes that surround them as they navigate their way through the floating continent, a self-contained world where a wide variety of characters symbiosis. Players in possession of digital collectibles have access to key information that will help them work their way through the game, including clues to the location of items and insight into the history of the Floating Continent. Issues of monopolization and distribution of resources are central to the game, and players constantly find themselves having to decide whether to keep information close to their chest or reveal it to other players in a strategic trade. Ultimately, three players who have cleared certain obstacles will be positioned to make important choices that affect how the story ends.

Digital art included in the treasure hunt
The treasure hunt gives players access to digital art called “Membership Card: Green”. After the official launch of ‘SYMBIOGENESIS’, players with the card in the crypto wallet will have an advantage in the game. Players will find a number of clues to their whereabouts in the official Discord community.
The treasure hunt lasts until 11:59 PM on Tuesday, April 4th, Japan Time, and Digital Art Membership Cards will be available to the first 30,000 players who find them.

*The crypto wallets that will work with ‘SYMBIOGENESIS’ are MetaMask, WalletConnect and Web3Auth.
